Protective coatings and add on's
Evergreen Conservation Group Ltd supplies the worlds leading protective coating for solar panels which has now been industry standard since early 2018. The coating increases the energy performance by 12.5% on new panels straight out of the factory, so if your panels are dirty, then this will drastically increase the percentage. We also supply industry-leading retrofit solar inverters and solar batteries, improving the energy performance, which in turn saves you more money.
REDUCE MAINTENANCE AND BOOST EFFICIENCY
The benefits of solar panel protective coating
At its most simple a solar cell converts sunlight into electricity. Natural constraints on solar cell productivity prohibit a 100% efficient cell. When it comes to solar cell efficiency, every little help. Improved efficiency is the result of a combination of properties of solar panel coating. Solar panel coating can be:
Hydrophobic – In rainy climates like the UK, this is particularly beneficial. The hydrophobic coating allows water to flow more easily from the panel surface to reduce the negative effect of inclement weather.
Anti-reflective – An anti-reflective layer increases the amount of light transmitted through the surface of the panel and thus increases efficiency.
Self-cleaning – Contaminants like bird droppings and pollution do not adhere to it. This also makes the coating anti-dust and prevents the growth of mould. A little rain is all it takes to remove dirt and grime.
Easy to clean and maintain – With the self-cleaning properties of hydrophobicity, the coating requires less maintenance to ensure efficiency.
Provides long-lasting protection – The coating is durable and can withstand different weather conditions.
WHY UPGRADE YOUR INVERTER
Unfortunately with string inverters, if one of your solar panels goes out, then the rest of the system goes down. This occurs because string inverters treat a group of panels as if it were a single large panel, meaning any problems with one panel are felt across the entire string. The good news is, the solar industry has evolved over the last ten years and if you would like to generate more power, upgrading your solar system from string inverters to optimizers would be a great idea.
BATTERIES - POWER WHEN NEEDED
One of the biggest problems with solar panels is that they only produce electricity when there's light outside. Usually, this is when you're not at home because of daytime activities like work and kid's sports. Clouds and shade can also reduce the output of solar panels, causing your home to have to draw off the grid if it's using too much electricity. With a battery, the energy that your solar panels create that isn't used at the time of its generation gets stored. You can use the stored energy at night or doing those cloudy times when you're at home without having to draw off the grid.
SOLAR - SAVING OUR PLANET
Solar power can help reduce CO2 emissions mainly by being a clean and renewable source of energy. Solar power is not dependent on burning fossil fuels or other products; instead, it uses electrons from captured from the sun’s energy for energy creation. Therefore, solar power does not create greenhouse gases for energy production at your house. It’s shown that of energy production methods including coal, gas, oil that renewable energy such as PV solar and wind energy have a far lesser carbon footprint. The reason renewable sources have a footprint at all is due to the emissions created during the production of the equipment during manufacturing. The number is extremely low considering that the emissions from the one-time production of the equipment are spread out over an estimated 30 to 40-year life of the panels (for PV solar)
